Anyone who has ever visited the Fondazione Prada in Milan, a flamboyant showcase for contemporary art, knows that gold has held a special place in the history of art since the Italian Primitives. Our artists are no exception to the rule. Whether they use the golden ratio, gold leaf or the golden light of a sunset, the result is always resplendent. Don't be fooled by its kitschy reputation, gold is making a comeback and lighting up our interiors. Oh there's a gold digger, way over town, that's good to me...
