Mood of the week: Exotic plants

Exhibition from 12 January to 18 January 2026

Living under the tropics and watching exotic plants grow: a comforting dream during these snowy months when everything invites us to hibernate. Since the end of the 15th century, these plants from faraway lands, from majestic palm trees to mysterious carnivorous plants, have populated cabinets of curiosities and fascinated the eyes of those living in temperate regions. Symbols of escape and discovery, they conjure up images of lush jungles inhabited by extraordinary life forms. Through this selection of works, our artists give shape to real or fictional plants, both fantastical and dreamlike. An invitation to travel, to dream, and to let the warmth of the tropics warm our hearts.
