Baron Pierre de Coubertin was the first to say it: the important thing is to participate. The Olympic Games will be officially opened on Friday on the Seine, and this historic moment deserves a selection of works paying tribute to sport in all its beauty. The prowess of champions in equestrianism, gymnastics, swimming and all the other disciplines are all moments that will mark the history of sport, but will also inspire artists. May the best win!
