Mood of the week: Salmon pink

Exhibition from 03 February to 09 February 2025

It's not pink, beige or orange. It's salmon. This ambivalent colour is a colour that sprinkles and illuminates everything along the way, adding a touch of softness. At the end of the 19th century, it was furiously fashionable in art, notably in the works of Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro and Vincent van Gogh. After the Impressionist era, the popularity of this colour declined, resurfacing in the 1950s fashion and pastel interiors. Today, our artists are crazy about it, and do not hesitate to sprinkle their works with this warm hue. Don't be afraid to swim against the tide!
