Sweeping backgrounds, waterfalls of paint, isolated figures, piles of books poised as skyscrapers... Gista’s themes may change but his style remains easily recognizable: always very dramatic, evoking cinema-scapes.

Making new connections through images and sound that has a different, but strong emotional meaning for all of us despite age, generation, race, or gender.
