Envie d'art galleries wish you all a festive  season !
We cannot wait to open 2015 with a selection of new artists to suprise you, new projects going on, new shows in cities to promote our talented artists: as we will premiere our artists in Palm Beach and Seoul !

Please note that the London gallery will be closed from Dec 21 to Jan 5.
We will reopen the gallery on Tuesday January the 6th at 11 am.

Patrick Smith was born in Lille, France in 1955 and is currently based in Paris. He studied photography at CREAR Art School in Gouvieux, France, and graduated in 1981. In the fall of 2006, he was one of ten winning photographers in Jen Bekman's Hey, Hot Shot! Competition. Mr. Smith's photographic series have been featured in group and solo shows in galleries across Europe, Asia and Americas. His personal work has been featured in the Russian design magazine Moloko+ and the French photography magazine Images. He has worked on commission for architecture, arts, design, and travel magazines since 1982.

His work examines what we seek in idyllic locations and the light and color that draws people to these different environments. A critical observor of the relationship between the 21st century and its inhabitants, Smith's photographs invite us to re-consider what constitutes a landscape.

Come and visit us as we treat you with a new selection of super cool and hip prints from a trendy screenprint studio in Shoreditch. We have a range of prints by young and emerging artists for every budget and taste. High quality limited edition prints, the british flair and humour as well as we french people are utterly found of!
We are looking forward to celebrating the season of goodwill with really accessible prices!

Like every year, the first week of december was pretty exciting in Miami ! From the main event, Art Basel Miami Beach to satellites fairs like Art Miami, SCOPE, the lovely Red Dot or the brand new Untitled : as usual, you had more artworks than time to see them all !

As Peter Hoffer is in London for few days, he will meet all his london-based collectors.

Let's meet the artist and re- discover his famous paintings of landscapes, trees & palms trees covered with resin on top in our London gallery in Kensington.

Elisabeth has been selected to enter the famous book which compile the major contemporary art people in UK.

Elisabeth settled down in London more than 15 years where she studied at the prestigious St Martin's School.

Our famous painter of cities has launched a new project to link art & history. Corinne gets the idea to stick on the wall portraits of historical people below their name plates. Finally streets have a face !
For this new projects, her name has been written backwards : ero ellad.

Book signing in Paris 7e, october 9, from 6-9pm

We are proud to show the drawings on rice paper, paintings and sculptures by Nicolas Dubreuille in our gallery in Paris 8e. Monochrome, vivid colours, resin, ruggedness, his work is an invitation to see beyond reality.

We are thrilled to welcome Victoria in Envie d'Art crew! As she has been appointed as our new manager in our gallery in Paris 7. She will be pleased to answer any questions you may have or help you to build your collection.

Several paintings by him have been shown as a display on a popular french talk show: "The ou Cafe". Edouard already has a large audience of worldwide collectors and it was great so see his shiny paintings selected by a French pop singer, Jean-Louis Aubert who's also a client from our galleries !

Like a circus number, the bestiary parades and poses, whilst accompanied by all the characters of Cieu's troupe: superheroes, skeletons and pin ups.
Sophisticated and surrealist compositionally, line gives way to large expanses of vivid colour. Although the energy & spontaneity cieu puts is reminiscent of street art, the emphasis is put on painting.

Envie d'Art London branch will be closed for the summer. We wish you a splendid summertime, we hope you will have some rest, fun & sun !!

You will get a frame, some stencils, spray cans so you can become a street artist yourself. You will feel the enthousiasm while doing an authentic artwork labelled by a famous envie d'art artist !

As a brilliant & young french pop artist Florent has everything to succeed ! We first started to show his work in an art fair in Singapore. His universe is a mix of pop  & urban culture, street art and graffiti. We are thrilled that he just joined the stable of Envie d'Art.

Most esquisite and powefufl, Patricia's paintings were on display on a famous and popular TV show "The ou Cafe" on Saturday April, 26.

Joseph has fetched another sale record in April at one of the most leading contemporary auction house, Phillips de Pury.
We are very proud to support Joseph's work through his 2 series : his spectacular photomontage of urban landscapes and his newest work : sculpture in resin or ceramic oftenly covered with 24k golden leaf. His sculpture estimated £ 20,000 - £ 30,000 and reached £ 47,500.

New arrival at the Assouline book editor, Jean-michel Berts photo book: "The light of Jerusalem". The unmistakable black and white !

L'Oreal - Paris has just bought one of Marine de Soos's sculptures "Le Grand Pecheur Badjo", which is now highlighted in their headquarters' hall near Paris.

We are glad to introduce 2 new artists in Envie d'Art stable. Niemand, a photographer based in Netherlands is currently showcased in our gallery in Paris 8e and Manuel Cohen a french photographer who will give you a new idea of the Zoo de Vincennes with a stunning photo-montage! He is shown in our gallery in Paris 7e.

Cécile's well known Barbie photo the Cocktail Chanel has been sold for a Charity auction in Hong Kong. Estimated HKD 15,000 and it fetched HKD 63,000 or € 6300 !

Irritating, disobliging, provoking, here are some adjectives to describe at best "Bitch", this cheeky tv show by  Canal+ a french tv channel. In one of its last episodes, the actress Camille Cottin visited art galleries in Paris including Envie d'Art ! A must see !

Tim's book has just been out. His pictures capture the clouds lifting to reveal a snow-covered panorama from the arlberg mountains in austria. Tim has a longstanding affinity with the mountains of Europe. He catches the wonder he felt travelling several months in Austria.
He tries to create a sense of the drama and also the quiet that everyone can feel in that scenery. He pays a great tribute to these snowy landscapes, magical and mysterious.

We are  happy to launch a new gallery 'K+Y'  with 2 great goals: to promote the Envie d'Art  artists in their carreer and to recrute new artists with an international audience.

K+Y Gallery has been shown in major art fairs: Toronto International art fair, Scope Miami, Scope Basel and will have 5 exhibtiion per year. Next art fair: Los Angeles Art Show in January !
